Flight 823 has decades of combined practical experience and comprehensive knowledge of engineering support and design for the repair, modification, and reconfiguration of commercial and business aircraft structures and interiors including project/program management and certification with airlines, OEMs, and MROs. This provides the technical capabilities that ensure the company’s success.

Christian Tendick is the founder and Chief Engineer of Flight 823.  He started the business in 2010 to make his extensive experience in aircraft modification, repair, and certification available to a wide range of customers.  He has dedicated himself full-time to the company since 2013.

Mr. Tendick has well has nearly three decades of experience in the industry working directly for major airlines, a major OEM, MROs, and a large business jet fractional operator.  This experience includes managing or an integral team player in many interior/structural modification projects ranging from aerial firefighting modifications to cargo conversions to interior reconfigurations/refurbishments on various manufacturer platforms as well as VIP interiors.  He has managed an engineering department at a major airline as well as supported the delivery, integration and disposition of both new and used aircraft.  His experience also includes structural repair design and support and providing onsite liaison support for repairs/modifications.
